Few storage solutions are as stately as a traditional wooden knife block, but most of the options dull your knives by sliding the edge along the inside of a vertical slot. The Nakiyo Walnut Knife Block solves that problem with horizontal slots that protect your blades, and it also comes with an optional magnetic back that accommodates two more knives than the standard model.
Ensure that your knives are clean and dry before putting them away. Because they are made of natural materials, each block has a unique character and may come with minor flaws.
