Weighing in at over six ounces, the Sockeye is a rugged everyday carry model built for serious use. Its thick, 3.6" blade of tough D2 tool steel opens effortlessly with a flipper tab and ball bearing action. Full stainless liners are partly covered by textured, contoured scales milled from virtually indestructible G-10. The heavy gauge pocket clip is raised to accommodate thick fabrics.

This is a mid-sized folder with Jade G10 scales and D2 steel. It does not have weight reduction so it's a bit heavy, but that's not a problem for me. The fit and finish are well done for a knife in this price range. I especially like the barrel-style stand-offs for the pocket clip, have never seen that on a knife before. Ergonomics are excellent, able to get good purchase on the knife and by choking up. Thumb falls nicely along the back of the blade. I think the most interesting feature is the how the scales do not surround the pivot which creates a unique, exposed, feature you don't often see on a folder. Great value.
I stumbled upon the Seattle Seacut store and could not have been happier. The pocket knife I purchased looks great is sharp and a hard working blade. I use it for general basic tasks at home and in the yard. Looking forward to years of work out of this fine folder.
