We designed the Onefold Alox as part of our Alox Refined collection. The goal is to offer ultimate simplicity and practicality in a modernized and minimalistic design. The skeletonized Alox scales allow a perfect grip so you can work in confidence with the large lockable blade. We added a riveted carry clip for enhanced portability. Ideal for those seeking a practical companion for everyday use, the Onefold Alox is available in three colors: red, dark blue and silver.

For about 50 bucks, this looks to be a very lightweight, dependable tool. The machining makes it worth the extra money over the traditional Alox, not to disparage the beauty of the originals. I have a bit of an Alox collection going, so I wanted to give the Onefold a try. It’s not hard for me to justify the pocket space used by the Synergy X with its nearly-perfect tool set, but I already EDC at least a couple of other single-blade knives, so I’m not sure how much I will actually use this one. No regrets though, it’s a real beauty!
