We designed the Synergy X Alox as part of our Alox Refined collection. Building on the synergy theme, we added the "X" to represent extended functionality with the addition of precision scissors. Made for those who require everyday tools in a modernized design, this ten-function pocket knife is a new generation multitasker. Available in three colors – red, dark blue and silver – the Synergy X Alox features skeletonized Alox scales for a durable and distinctive look.

Very happy with my purchase from Seattle Cutlery. Fast Shipping with options. The Victorinox Synergy X Alox is a great all around multi-tool. Only issue is the pocket clip is to weak. Needs a tighter hold so it won't easily slip out of the pocket.

The new Alox series is a significant upgrade from the classic design. Having a locking blade it a real world safety feature that increases the use cases of this tool, while ensuring that the user is protected from harm. The execution is well done, and it is clear that they put some thought into this. I don’t care for the milled metal at the lower pivot point, I would rather have seen that part kept whole, to help keep dirt out of the action and keep as much strength in that area, but apart from that, its a serious update.
I am hoping that they come out with more models in the future, and that they consider additions of a proper philips screwdriver, a file, saw and plier options.
