We designed the Synergy X Alox as part of our Alox Refined collection. Building on the synergy theme, we added the "X" to represent extended functionality with the addition of precision scissors. Made for those who require everyday tools in a modernized design, this ten-function pocket knife is a new generation multitasker. Available in three colors – red, dark blue and silver – the Synergy X Alox features skeletonized Alox scales for a durable and distinctive look.

This tool works very well. IMO a great set of tools and doesn’t feel heavy or bulky either. I upgraded to this from a Alox Harvester and haven’t looked back. I wanted it for the new package opener and nail file. Both work better than I could have hoped. I wasn’t initially interested in pocket clip but ended up loving it. Keeps my non-phone pocket empty for keys, AirPods, etc.
This setup seems perfect for me. Love the look, pocket clip and box opener. Nail file tip work great to clean finger nails. Scissor is a must and the bottle opener/screw driver is excellent too.
Received an Alox knife almost 60 years ago as my first knife (still have it). My only complaint was the lack of a locking blade. It's finally here! I bought 2 to give one to my daughter.

This knife is a good basic solid all purpose carry. It’s light, the metal is a little thicker than the 91mm version. All around good pocket knife to carry for people who do handy useful stuff and don’t want a “tactical” pocket knife. Price is about 2 times too much, but I had to pull the cord and get one. Lastly the blade lock is a little weird because you have to put your thumb or finger in front of the blade while you’re closing it.
An elegant new SAK, with a new slash, a relatively new box opener (new to me - it works wonderfully), and a locked main blade that must be released by pressing a liner-lock. None are critical improvements, especially the locked blade. But it’s an elegant knife, with first rate tools (including the legendary scissors). I’m a huge fan of the Alox models (preferably in Black). A beautiful, practical premium quality knife!
